Auteur is made by one person. When you email, you reach them directly — no ticket queue, no bot. Expect a reply within a few days.
Before you write
A few of the most common questions answer themselves — the frequently-asked questions on the home page cover what an Issue is, how the artwork is sourced, and how remembering works. For the rest:
- Cancel or manage a subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Apple. Manage or cancel in your Apple ID settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Delete your account and data. In the app, go to Profile → Delete account. This permanently erases your threads, captures, review history, and account — it cannot be undone. You can also email us to do it for you.
- Export your data. Email hello@auteurxyz.com and we will send you a copy of everything tied to your account.
- Report a factual error in an Issue.Auteur’s content is AI-generated and can be wrong. Tell us the Issue and the line — corrections make the whole thing better.
Something broken?
If the app crashed or behaved strangely, email hello@auteurxyz.com with your device model, iOS version, and what you were doing. The more specific, the faster it gets fixed.
